On January 28, 2005 the Lynbrook Fire Department responded to a house fire on Robertson Road.  Engine 421 was first on the scene, stretching a hose line to the second floor bedroom.  Engine’s 422 and 423 began a second hose line operation while Truck Co. #1 ventilated the fire from the roof.  1st Assistant Chief James McDermott was in charge at the scene.

“The quick actions of the Department allowed for a fast and effective knock down of the fire, minimizing the amount of damage to the house.  Within 15 minutes of arriving on the scene, the fire was knocked out.”
