A Tree Grows in Their Names

On May 26, 2018, the Village of Lynbrook, led by Mayor Alan Beach, honored four Lynbrook residents who had passed away, with trees planted along the trail in the wooded area behind fire headquarters and next to the LIRR tracks. Among those honored were Ex-Chief and Honorary Fire Commissioner Frank Abrams of Vulcan Company, and past mayor and associate member of Engine Company William Hendrick.  

The Lynbrook Fire Department, led by Chief William Abrams was in attendance at the ceremony.  Both the Abrams and Hendrick families were also present.
