The basketball game between Lynbrook firefighters and a team from the Lynbrook Baptist Church and held on November 10th at the Lynbrook High School raised $8530, with the monies split between Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior and the Lynbrook Council of PTA's.  On November 18, 2018, Ex-Chief  Kevin Bien and this writer, a NCFF-OWW vice-chairman accepted a check from Baptist Church Pastor Robert Walderman in the amount of $4265.  A similar amount was presented to Suzanne DiBenedetto and Kelly Murray of the Lynbrook PTA.
