On Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Greis Park, the Lynbrook Fire Department held their annual Home Tournament where LFD's five fire companies,Emergency Medical Company, and the Junior firefighters, participating in timed ladder and hose events at Greis Park, for bragging rights for the next year.  In some exciting competition and skills the tournament ended with a tie between Engine Company and Tally-Ho.  A run-off hose event between those two companies gave Engine Company the win.  Tally-Ho was second, Medical Company and Hose Company, who teamed up, finished third, while Vulcan Company was fourth, Truck Company, fifth, and the junior firefighters, sixth.  After the tournament the members enjoyed their annual picnic.
