Remembering Our Fallen Brothers

On Sunday morning, October 21, 2018, Chief William Abrams led the department, Ladies Auxiliary and the juniors, in the Annual Memorial Service to remember six Lynbrook volunteers who died over the years, in the line of duty, protecting the residents of the Village of Lynbrook.  The service was held at the Firefighters Memorial on Sunrise Highway at Earle Avenue.  The mayor and village board attended as did other local elected officials.  After the service everyone went back to the Knights of Columbus Hall on Hempstead Avenue for breakfast.
