Five Corners Auto Accident

On the morning of December 10, 2018, a car collided with a Lynbrook police motor patrol at Five Corners, the intersection of Merrick Road, Atlantic, and Hempstead Avenues.  The Lynbrook Fire Department's extrication team responded under the command of First Assistant Chief Nick Pearsall.  But their services were not needed.  Both drivers were slightly injured and transported by Northwell Health ambulance to the hospital.  Firefighters secured the vehicles.  Both vehicles were then towed from the scene.
