On Memorial Day 2019, Chief Nick Pearsall led the members, Ladies, and Junior firefighters in the annual Memorial Day services at the Firefighters Memorial on Sunrise Highway to remember and honor four Lynbrook firefighters, two from Truck Company and two from Hose Company who were killed in action during World War II.  Wreaths were laid at the stones of these four firefighters.  The membership also heard comments from Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach.
