2018 Christmas Fire Truck Rides

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, Lynbrook firefighters gave the children of Lynbrook and many of their parents rides on Lynbrook's fire trucks as part of the firefighters annual Christmas Fire Truck Rides.  The firefighters have been doing this each Christmas for over 60 years.  After the children took a ride they got a chance for some hot chocolate and cookies and to sit on Santa's lap.  The Ladies Auxiliary provided the refreshments as the Junior firefighters handed out candy canes to the children.  Chief William Abrams and his assistant chiefs, Nick Pearsall, Mike Brooks, and John Donald also got their chance to sit with Santa and tell Santa what they want this Christmas.  The chiefs wish all residents a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
