In Sunday August 27th, 2017 the Lynbrook Fire Department hosted their annual home tournament and picnic. All of the Companies in the department competed, including the Juniors, and after running the Single Ladder, Three Man Ladder, Midnight Alarm, Efficiency, and Bucket events, Engine Company came out victorious.

Chief Carl Lengel, accompanied by Chief Abrams, Chief Pearsall, and Chief Brooks, presented the trophy to Engine Co. Captain Dan Dempsey. Following the tournament, the Junior FD challenged the Department Softball Team to game, where the FD team won by a small margin. 

An afternoon of barbeque and beverages, with games for the kids and a DJ was enjoyed by all.
