On July 18, 2019, Lynbrook firefighters joined members of the ERFD and Nassau County Police Medical Services at the funeral of ERFD's Ex-Chief Daniel Pignataro at St. Raymonds Church.  Ex-Chief Pignataro passed away on July 13th at the age of 46.  He was also a paramedic with Nassau County Police.  Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, and Lynbrook Police Chief Brian Paladino also attended.  Lynbrook's Truck Company, joined by an Oceanside ladder, raised an American flag over an intersection on Pignataro's home block in Oceanside.  Ex-Chief's Pignataro's funeral procession went under a total of 14 American flag arches on the way to the cemetery.
