Junior FD Hosts 40th Anniversary Dinner

On January 12, 2020, the Lynbrook Junior Fire Department held a dinner at the Elks Club to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the forming of the Juniors in July 1979.  Lynbrook mayor Alan Beach, along with Town of Hempstead Councilman Anthony D'Esposito were on hand to present proclamations and citations'.  Many past juniors, who have gone on to become firefighters in the Lynbrook Fire Department, were also in attendance for this momentous occasion.  At the dinner, the Juniors honored current Captain Conner O'Reilly, past Captain Colleen Germain, whose Grandfather, Ex-Chief Robert Forte was chief when the juniors were formed, and past Captain Andrew Abrams.
