On November 20, 2010, the members of the Emergency Medical Company of the Lynbrook Fire Department held a fundraiser for Firefighter/EMT Kelly Ann Cartmell who had suffered a brain injury as a result of a diabetic incident on April 12, 2010 and who is now in an upstate rehabilitation hospital.   Kelly Ann, who is a fourth generation Lynbrook resident, joined the Medical Company in 2004 and had been an active member who served on a number of committees.  Below are pictures from the fundraiser which was held at the Tally-Ho firehouse.  At the December 2010 meeting of the Medical Company, the officers presented the fundraiser check to Kelly Ann's mother.
