Medical Company Responds to Motorcycle Accident

On November 4, 2008, shortly before 8 PM, the Lynbrook Fire Department's Emergency Medical Company and the Department's Extrication Team responded to a reported motor vehicle and motorcycle accident at the intersection of Peninsula Blvd and Merrick Road.  The Medical Company stabilized the rider of the motorcycle who was found in the middle of the roadway.  He was placed on a stretcher and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle was not injured.  The Department was under the command of Chief John O'Reilly.
