On Tuesday evening, April 6, 2010, the Lynbrook Fire Department held their annual department meeting and elections at Hose Company 1 on Blake Avenue.  Raymond Burke of Hose Company was elected Chief Engineer for the coming year.  Michael Hynes of Engine Company was elected First Deputy Chief, and Anthony DeCarlo of Tally-Ho was elected Second Deputy Chief.  Additionally, in a tight race for Third Deputy Chief, Edward Hynes of Engine Company beat Peter Festa of Vulcan Company.  The vote count was 94 to 90.  Also Robert Cribbin of Tally-Ho was elected to another term as Fourth Battalion delegate.  After the meeting and elections Hose Company hosted the chiefs of the Fourth Battalion. 

The newly elected chiefs and officers of the department will be sworn in at the Fire Council meeting on April 20^th.
