Wetdown of New Ambulance

Story by Ex-Captain Steve Grogan; Photos by George McCluskey, Perfect Photo

On Sunday, November 15, 2008, Emergency Medical Company No. 1 of the Lynbrook Fire Department christened their new Unit 425-A at ceremonial and wetdown festivities held at their firehouse on Vincent Avenue, just off Sunrise Highway.

Ex-Chief William Cosenza, a member of Engine Company, and the person that rolls the ambulance daily, was honored to break the champagne on the new ambulance's bumper, as officers and members watched.

An Engine Company hose line wet down the new ambulance.
