The Lynbrook Fire Department swept all the top awards in the Fourth Battalion Parade that was held in Lynbrook on Saturday, June 26, 2010.  The LFD won First Place in all four categories for the Best Department, Ladies Auxiliary, Juniors, and band.   This is the third year in a row that Lynbrook has taken home the best appearing department and juniors awards.  After the parade everyone gathered in Greis Park for the block party.  The awards were announced by Ex-Captain Mike Gunning of Hose Company who acted as MC for the presentations. The Fourth Battalion chairman is our own Ex-Chief Rob Cribbin. Rockville Centre FD finished second and Lakeview FD finished third in department competition.
