On Saturday, September 10, 2011, members of the Lynbrook Fire Department came out to help prepare Truck Company's firehouse for our department's first fundraiser that evening for Nassau County Firefighters-Operation Wounded Warrior. The LFD has been a member of the organization for the past four years. Ex-Chief Kevin Bien, who chaired the committee thanks the Chiefs and the members of the department for their support, and to all those businesses, people, and organizations, who donated prizes and made donations so that we can make a great Christmas and holiday season for our wounded warriors
