For the second year in a row, the volunteers of the Fourth Battalion Fire District, made up of the fire departments of Lynbrook, East Rockaway, Malverne, Lakeview, and Rockville Centre, held their annual Nassau County Burn Center Foundation fundraiser at the Tally-Ho firehouse on Sunday afternoon, April 10, 2011, and raised over $6000.  The Fourth Battalion has been supporting the NCBCF for over 15 years and in the past seven years alone has donated nearly $60,000.   Lynbrook Ex-Chief, Fourth Battalion Chairman, and now Chairman of the Nassau County Fire Commission, Robert Cribbin expressed his thanks to the members of Tally-Ho, his company, for the use of the firehouse, and to the many Ex-Chief’s and members of the Fourth Battalion fire departments for their continued support.  His also expressed his thanks to the band Switch which donated their time as did the Nassau County Firefighters Pipes and Drums.
