The Lynbrook Fire Department, in conjunction with other Long Island fire departments assisted with relief efforts to the people of Haiti by donating clothes and blankets that were shipped to the earthquake ravaged country. 

In the below photos below, taken on January 24, 2010, Lynbrook Chief Kevin Bien, joined by his deputies Ray Burke and Anthony DeCarlo, alone with some members of the Lynbrook Junior Fire Department, load the department’s rack truck with the donated items. 

Over 2500 pounds of clothing and blankets were donated.
