After the completion of the Memorial Day Parade Chief Raymond Burke and the other chiefs joined with the members of Tally-Ho Engine 3, along with Engine 2, VSFD, Tally-Ho's sister company, as the VFW honored Tally-Ho Ex-Captain Jeffrey L. Wiener who was killed in action in Iraq five years ago on May 7, 2005. 

During the ceremonies honoring Jeff, Captain Dominick Gerardi spoke about Jeff's time with Tally-Ho and the supreme sacrifice he made as a Navy corpsman.  Additionally, Maria Wiener, Jeff's widow, who was the parade Grand Marshal, also spoke about her husband. 

Maria and her two girls placed flowers on Jeff's stone in front of Village of Lynbrook's Doughboy Monument.
