On Saturday, October 13, 2006 the Lynbrook Fire Department, under the command of Chief Robert Occhipinti, participated in the Village of Lynbrook's annual EXPO in Greis Park.  Truck Company, Engine Company, the Emergency Medical Company, and Extrication Team members, took part in a number of demonstrations.  Truck Company demonstrated the lowering of a victim from the Firemen's Arch while Engine Company and the Extrication Team cut open a vehicle to rescue the driver, played by a firefighter.  The Medical Company set up a display showing residents the duties they perform for the community.
