Members of the Lynbrook Fire Department took part in the annual village Expo at Greis Park on Saturday, September 25, 2010.  While the Fire Prevention Bureau used Elmont FD's smoke house to instruct youngsters on the proper procedure for escaping a fire in the home, members of the Extrication Team, using a vehicle donated by North Star Collision, demonstrated the use of its forcible entry and cutting equipment to remove doors and the roof from the vehicle.  Additionally, Tally-Ho members demonstrated the use of the FFRED pack system from the Firefighter's Arch.  Also, the members of Hose Company extingished a car that was set on fire in Wilcox Alley, and the Medical Company was at the park displaying their equipment and attempting to sign up new members.
