On Sunday, June 10, 2007, the members of the Lynbrook Junior Fire Department held their annual car wash at Medical Company quarters on Vincent Avenue.  The Junior's have held this car wash for a number of years.  In 2005 they donated the money raised from the car wash to the widow of Ex-Captain Jeff Wiener of Tally-Ho who was killed fighting in Iraq that year.  In 2006, the car wash money was donated to the family of Paul Brady, a Malverne firefighter who was killed in the line of duty that year.
