May 29, 2007 was Lynbrook Night at Shea Stadium which was sponsored by the Lynbrook Little League.  The Lynbrook FD Color Guard had the proud honor of presenting the colors on that night at the opening ceremonies. 

Chief Robert Occhipinti was on hand to see Ex-Chief Bill Cosenza and Captain Chris Kelly honored, as were Lynbrook police officers, and residents.  The Mets won.
