On Memorial Day, May 28th, 2012, the Lynbrook Fire Department led by Chief Anthony DeCarlo, first honored four volunteers, two from Hose Company, and two from Truck Company, who were killed in battle during World War II. The Department then participated in the Village of Lynbrook's Annual Memorial Day Parade and veteran services at the Doughboy Monument after the parade. At the Doughboy, the members of Tally-Ho laid a wreath at the stone honoring Ex-Captain Jeffrey L. Wiener who was killed in action in Iraq in March 2005.
