On Labor Day, members of the Lynbrook Fire  Department's wounded warrior committee traveled to the Waldbaums store on Route 106/107 in Hicksville to pick up numerous donations made by that store and Waldbaums to Lynbrook's upcoming Community Concert for the Troops on September 20th.  All funds raised from this event and the softball doubleheader on September 13th goes to Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior.  To date, Waldbaums, whose manager is Chris Meyers, has donated about $3000 in product.  The below photos shows just some of the product that the firefighters picked up at the store.  More is expected.
