On Saturday, May 15, 2015, Ex-Chief Anthony "Zemo" DeCarlo participated in a portion of a Manhattan to Montauk bike ride.  The chief decided to make the ride to raise funds for the Nassau County Firefighters Burn Center at Nassau University Medical Center.  The ride started at 34th Street in Manhattan at 5:30 AM and which was to end at the Montauk Lighthouse.  Chief Zemo, one of the Junior Fire Department advisors, peddled the first leg of the ride from 34th Street to Lynbrook's Truck Company quarters on Earle Avenue where the Lynbrook Juniors handed out water to the riders who then continued on there way.  Chief Zemo was able to raise $555 through a GoFundMe webpage for his portion of the ride.
