Ex-Chief Carl Lengel, right, of Vulcan Company of the Lynbrook Fire Department, was sworn in as a delegate to the Fourth Battalion Fire District by Fourth Battalion Chairman Joe Mihalich of the East Rockaway Fire Department at the October meeting of the battalion.  Ex-Chief Lengel replaces Ex-Chief Robert Cribbin, a past chairman of the battalion and Nassau County Fire Commission, who has moved south for new employment.
