2016 4th Battalion Parade

On Saturday, June 25, 2016, the Lynbrook Fire Department, led by Chief John Chavatte, participated in the annual Fourth Battalion Parade which was held in Malverne this year.   Besides the five departments in the Fourth Battalion, the Valley Stream and Franklin Square Fire Departments were guests and also marched.  A block party was held in the Village of Malverne parking lot opposite the bowling alley.  Rockville Centre won the parade while Lynbrook placed second and Malverne came in third.  Lynbrook Juniors however took first place.
