On Sunday, August 31, 2014, the Lynbrook Fire Department held its Home Tournament and Picnic at Greis Park.  The Tournament, an annual event that pits the four engine companies, Truck Company, the Medical Company, and even the Juniors, in hose and ladder competition.  The competition was tough throughout the day right up till the last event.  Tally-Ho was the winner, followed by Engine Company in second place, Truck Company was third, Vulcan took fourth, the Juniors were fifth, and Medical Company came in last.  After the competition the members and their families enjoyed the barbecue and the day in the park which had a number of activities for the members' children.  Chief Michael Anderson thanks the committee for a great day of competition, food, and camaraderie.
