New Ladder 428 Arrives

On Saturday, March 28, 2009, a new 2008 Seagrave 100 foot rear-mount ladder arrived in Lynbrook for Rescue, Hook and Ladder Company No. 1. 

The new ladder truck, similar to the 1991 Seagrave it is replacing, is a slightly larger vehicle with more cabinet space. 

The new ladder now needs to have its radios and other equipment installed and then will be lettered.  Upon its return the members of Truck will train on the ladder before it is officially accepted by the company and the Village of Lynbrook. 

The new ladder could be in service in a few weeks.
