On Saturday, June 23rd, the volunteers of the Lynbrook Fire Department defended their first place win last year in the Fourth Battalion Parade, which was hosted this year by the East Rockaway FD. 

The Juniors successfully defended their first place position in the battalion, the band from Our Lady of Good Counsel finished third, and the Department finished second, behind the Rockville Center FD this year. 

Chief Robert Occhipinti accepted the trophies on behalf of the Department.  Additionally, during the block party which was held in the parking lot next to the Fishery Restaurant, members of the Emergency Medical Company took to the stage and did some singing.
