For the past few weeks each fire company in the Lynbrook Fire Department has been training at the Firefighter's Arch in Greis Park using the new individual rescue ropes that have been added to the Scott-Pak breathing apparatus worn by firefighters.  In the photos, Lynbrook firefighters are shown here simulating lowering themselves on their own from a burning building if they were to become trapped and had to go out the window to escape.
