Just as the National Anthem was being played to kick-off the start of the Super Bowl, Lynbrook firefighters were not watching because they were responding to a reported building fire at Sterling Optical on Sunrise Highway at Phillips Plaza.  Engine Company 1 was first on the scene and immediately dropped two hose lines to fight a fire on the roof of the one-story brick building.  Chief Michael Anderson said that the fire was most likely caused by an electrical problem possibly from the store's signage on front of the building.  Engine Company members quickly extinguished the fire with a hose line they brought up a ladder to the roof.   Firefighters were able to get back to the game during the second quarter
